With the 2012 Motorhome and Caravan show less than a fortnight away, motorhome insurance providers will be hoping to do good business at an event that seems to get bigger and better every year.
Once again based in the centre of the UK in Birmingham, The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) will provide a stunning backdrop for exhibitors and visitors alike. The organisers insist it is the only event of its kind that will provide a showcase for all new 2013 caravan, motorhome, holiday home, trailer tent and folding caravan models from the leading UK and European manufacturers and dealers. It is an inviting prospect for those interested in purchasing a new motorhome and motorhome cover, and with hundreds of models to choose from, one can imagine purchasers may need to take advantage of all 6 days of the show to make an informed choice.
Apart from the hundreds of exhibitors who will offer camper fans a full array of accessories that would suit any mobile home, the show prides itself on being informative as well as attractive. Motorhome owners will get the chance to become better, more confident and safer drivers through free manoeuvring tuition. The course will provide the novice or experienced motorhome driver with a 20 minute free lesson that will help them gain confidence, improve skills and maybe iron out bad habits they have picked up along the way. Each driver will have a fully qualified Caravan Club instructor sat alongside them. The courses will be popular and drivers hoping to take part should register as soon as possible. Free tuition on towing a caravan will also be available. There are loads more free activities on offer throughout the week, including a cookery theatre which now seems to be an integral part of any exhibition featuring the campervan and motorhome way of life.
The show starts at 10am October 16th and closes at 6pm October 21st. Tickets are £8 for adults, a pound cheaper for senior citizens and completely free for juniors.
