Campervan insurance providers can expect a flurry of interest in quotes on the new Adria Twin GT motorhome later this month as the feisty mobile home achieves a first for motorhomes by appearing at the Top Gear Live exhibition at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham at the end of October.
The motorhome (most people would call it a campervan) will wow the expected 70,000 visitors to the show and sales for the campervan that is loud and proud are expected to rocket. There is nothing shy about the Adria Twin GT and that becomes obvious when prospective buyers see the choice of colours they are presented with; they can opt for metallic orange that comes with black and orange upholstery or a black with thin red stripes exterior complemented with black leather and red suede upholstery. The vans are fitted out with state-of the art silver/grey furniture and come with an overwhelming choice of graphics.
Visitors to the show that takes place between October 25th -28th will see a version kitted out with loads of accessories called the Twin GT Full Pack. This offers the discerning owner a subwoofer under the rear seat, an Alpine audio system, Hertz door speakers and Bose speakers in the living area, an Alpine TV receiver, Gorenje 19-inch flat screen TV, Glomex TV aerial and Blaupunkt speakers in the bedroom. Alpine sat-nav with Bluetooth also comes with the pack as does a reversing camera linked to the Alpine unit in the dash, reversing sensors in the rear bumper, an Alpine 10-inch flip-down TV screen in the cab ceiling, a 600W inverter and a digital aerial.
There are the more traditional motorhome options in the guise of Truma Combi 4E gas/mains heating, passenger airbag, air conditioning, additional battery and cruise control. The extras take the camper van from around £45K to over £56K but who cares if you are after the look!
